Our Tenants

If you answer YES to the questions below and you would like to apply for a unit, please call into our Office. You may print or fill in our pre-tenancy application form online but your application will not be processed until we meet you in person.

Are you:

A New Zealand citizen, or permanent resident of New Zealand?

Do you:

Receive NZ Superannuation?

or

A benefit for a permanent disability?

Do you:

Have combined total assets of less than $80,000?

E.g., cash, investments, house or other property.

Our units are best suited to people living on their own. If you have a partner, you may both still apply, but your combined income, assets and situation will be assessed as part of your application.

Our Conditions

You will have to provide references from two previous landlords, and must be able to live independently and manage activities of daily living, such as:

  • living safely on your own

  • paying rent and meeting the expenses of keeping a unit i.e. electricity, telephone, lawn and garden care costs etc.

  • cooking, cleaning, personal care, and managing regular rubbish disposal

  • carrying out the requirements of the tenancy agreement

  • controlling visitors to the premises

You must visit our Office at 1/100 Awahuri Road, Feilding, and fill out a Pre-tenancy Application Form.

What Should I Know About the Application Process?

If there isn’t a suitable unit available, you may be placed on a waiting list.

Our process includes reference and other checks. We reserve the right to decline applications.

Our units may be allocated on a needs-basis, not on a first in, first served basis.
